Join Our Team as a Technology Transactions Lawyer at Axiom

We are currently seeking Technology Transactions Attorneys to work with our top Tech clients on a remote or onsite basis. This is an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with and advising corporate clients directly on a wide variety of technology transactions, as well as the ability to provide entrepreneurial, pragmatic, business-oriented advice related to the client's technology agreements.
  • Handling complex technology transactions autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders across client teams on complex deals for large tech companies operating on a global level.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of significant technology transaction experience, preferably in an in-house environment, working on a wide variety of technology transactions including but not limited to SaaS, licensing, hardware, and other technology licenses.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology contracts with strong issue spotting skills and attention to detail in contract revision.
  • Previous experience working in-house for a technology company or working with a tech industry client.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. Axiom's journey began in late 1999, conceived by Mark Harris, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, and Alec Guettel, a Stanford Business School graduate. A key to their growth was prioritizing the attraction of top-tier legal talent, many of whom valued the work-life balance and flexible employment terms Axiom offered. This focus on talent and a novel service delivery model resonated with the market, particularly in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, as corporations sought more cost-effective legal solutions. By 2010, Axiom's revenues had grown significantly, and by 2017, the company boasted over 2,000 employees in 17 offices across the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, serving nearly half of the Fortune 100 companies. Over the years, Axiom has continued to evolve, expanding its offerings and solidifying its position as a leader in the alternative legal services industry. They have focused on integrating technology, process, and data analytics to enhance the quality, predictability, and transparency of legal service delivery while reducing costs for clients.
