About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Research, implement, and deploy new ASR methods to improve transcription accuracy in our production system
- Collaboratively support our existing production system until fully migrated to the new architecture
- Longer term, work on other high-priority projects to improve the performance and scalability of our products
- Implement best software development practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Participate in architecture design and technical discussions to drive innovation and improve product performance
Requirements:
- 5+ years coding in Python
- Experience working with ASR Speech recognition systems
- 5+ years of experience in cloud services (e.g. serverless, SQL/noSQL databases, Kinesis, SQS, ELK, Kubernetes, Lambda, Cloud Functions)
- Experience with Microservices and containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong verbal and written communication with developers and business leaders
- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Significant experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Service and/or Google Cloud Platform
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering degree
