ASRC Federal’s Summer Technology Readiness Intern Development Experience (STRIDE) offers undergraduate college students the chance to apply their technological interests and knowledge to exciting real-world missions.

We are seeking an Application Developer/Analyst Intern to support our Army customer located in Washington, DC. This role is temporary, remote position.

Work location: Remote (must be able to support Eastern Time work schedule).

Security: Must be a US Citizen to obtain a Secret clearance and successfully complete a government issued background investigation to access to customer site (must have lived continuously in the continental United States for the past three years)

Program dates:  10-week summer internship, June 1 – August 6, 2026

Hours:   32 hours per week

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be a current junior, senior or graduate student in college at the time of application.

Summary: Assist in the development and enhancement of business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. Participate in streamlining internal processes, improve data visibility, and enhance user experience across the organization.

Key role:

  • Create, manage and maintain SharePoint Online lists, libraries, and permissions.
  • Update content on 14 SharePoint site collections, upon request.
  • Gather requirements and test solutions for quality assurance.
  • Document workflows, app structures, and user guidance materials.
  • Design and build Power Apps Canvas Apps to support workflow automation and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of automating processes using Power Automate to reduce manual tasks. Support data integration and dashboard development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to logic, data connections, permissions, or flow execution failures.
  • Manage and maintain multiple Microsoft Teams and channels.
  • This position provides hands-on experience in low-code development, digital process transformation, and modern workplace automation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.
  • SharePoint Online: Lists, libraries, pages, permissions, and data connections.
  • Microsoft Teams: Managing multiple Teams and channels. Integrate with Power Platform solutions.

• Basic Data Concepts:

◦ Understanding of tables, records, and fields (how data is structured and stored).

◦ Working with relational data, including lookups and connected data sources.

◦ Using collections and variables to store, manipulate, and pass data between screens in Power Apps. Aware of data types and how they affect formulas and flow logic.

  • Programming Familiarity (Preferred): JSON, HTML/CSS, Power Fx, Data Analysis Expressions.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Interns will work closely with dedicated mentors and managers, fostering meaningful connections within our company while exploring a range of technology disciplines. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to research projects developed by our tech experts. While extensive work experience is not required, a commitment to learning and a genuine passion for emerging technological advancements are essential.
