As an Autism Friendly Consultant, you’ll work as part of a collaborative team of Autistic and non-autistic staff delivering autism-friendly consultancy projects across a range of industries including travel, leisure, events, retail and community spaces.
You will:
- Lead and support autism-friendly consultancy projects
- Conduct environmental assessments and walkthroughs
- Write clear, practical assessment reports and implementation plans
- Deliver training and support resource development including sensory maps and visual stories
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings, timelines and project communication
- Support autism-friendly events and initiatives
- Travel interstate as required
This is a 6-month fixed term contract ending 22nd December 2026. The annual salary for this role is pro-rated to $36,686 inclusive of superannuation, based on working 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday). This is a community/home based role with an option to work from our Melbourne office.

- Experience managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships
- Strong written communication and report writing skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of contemporary autism inclusion practices
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Ability and willingness to travel interstate
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience
