Platform / Cloud Architect – SAP RISE

Drive the platform architecture for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Cloud Edition (RISE), ensuring alignment with system integrators, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise standards. Focus on Clean Core, scalability, and upgradeability.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end RISE platform strategy.

• Collaborate with system integrators to ensure architectural alignment.

• Manage Optional Software Vendors (OSVs) and add-ons to protect Clean Core.

• Document architectures and processes with SAP-style ADRs, HLDs, and diagrams.

• Provide guidance on BTP integration, extensibility, and hyperscaler infrastructure.

• 10+ years in SAP Architecture; 1+ full-cycle RISE migration.

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Cloud (PCE) and SAP BTP.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, storage, and security on hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/GCP).

• Proactive, autonomous, with “strong opinion, weakly held” mindset.

• Excellent ability to simplify complex architectures visually.
