Key Responsibilities
- Audit and improve the current game balance: identify progression gaps, pacing issues, and economy weaknesses, and implement balance changes
- Design and evolve a scalable core economy, including creating and updating economic models and balance tables from scratch
- Model and forecast mid- and late-game economy, progression pace, and key resource flows
- Analyze live data, playtests, and updates to evaluate impact and propose adjustments
- Support the game economy after release by maintaining balance during LiveOps, major updates, and new feature planning
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Game Economy Designer, Game Balancer, or Generalist on mobile projects
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience designing and balancing game economies for mobile games
- Experience with mid-core, hybrid casual, idle, tycoon, or related genres (not necessarily all of them)
- Ability to work with analytics data: interpret metrics and derive actionable insights
- Confident proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, dependencies, progression curves, and modeling
- Experience analyzing and forecasting mid- and late-game economies
- Strong information structuring skills; ability to interpret product metrics and analytics results
- Solid understanding of monetization principles and their impact on the game economy
- Ability to prepare clear, well-structured technical specifications for development teams
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher, sufficient for written communication
- Knowledge of Russian language
