As a Customer Engineer I at Applied Materials, you will collaborate with customers to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and diagnose technical issues. You will work closely with Senior Field Service Engineers and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Completion of an Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Willing to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
