Senior Software Engineer (Go) — Agentic AI Platform

At Apiphani, we’re building the future of infrastructure automation through agentic AI. Our platform powers intelligent copilots, agentic workflows, and eventually fully autonomous remediation for enterprise IT.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep Go expertise to join our core engineering team. Your primary focus will be:
Extending our terminal-based client application to bring AI-powered insights and contextual awareness into SSH/Putty sessions
Building and scaling our Go-based services that collect telemetry and metadata from servers
You’ll collaborate directly with product and platform leads to design, build, and ship mission-critical systems. This is zero-to-one work where everything you deliver has an immediate impact.
What You’ll Do
Architect, implement, and maintain high-performance Go services for data collection and orchestration
Extend terminal-based experiences with custom features (multi-connection support, AI-powered chat mode, dynamic session metadata)
Contribute to frontend components (React/TypeScript) where needed to deliver cohesive workflows
Collaborate with a highly technical team to design APIs, integrations, and scalable systems
Help shape the architecture of our agentic AI platform, from backend services to intelligent interfaces
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of Go experience building and maintaining production-grade systems
Proficiency with Bash scripting; familiarity with PowerShell is a strong plus
Familiarity with frontend development (React, terminal-based UIs, or similar)
Strong system design skills and ability to own problem spaces end-to-end
Comfort working in fast-moving, zero-to-one environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus
Experience with LLMs, AI copilots, or agentic systems (LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI APIs)
Background with infrastructure automation, observability, or enterprise IT systems
