What you'll do

•Management of the general accounting function: drafting and implementation of accounting procedures; support in implementation of the accounting system.

• You're knowledgeable in implementing and executing controls and animating the monthly closing process.

•Proven ability to manage and navigate the different accounting laws; Nigeria, UEMOA, Ghana, etc.

•Providing financial analysis and reports on key performance indicators to support the company’s decision-making process.

• Ability to head and improve the drafting and update of the company’s budget ans provide monthly and quarterly reporting to invest.

• Identifying when and how the company can optimize their assets and investments.

• Working with department heads to figure out each department’s likely revenue and expenses over the next several years.

•Management of the company’s financial audit.

•Management of key external stakeholders: auditors, bank, tax authorities.

What you bring

•You have 3 to 5 years of experience managing and understanding the accounting & tax structures of different African countries.

•You are able to understand the African ecosystem.

•You have a solid command of the IFRS for SME.

•You know how to implement accounting procedures in an early stage environment or equivalent.

•You have a design thinking mindset helping you to approach problems in different ways.

• You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills dealing as well with junior team members than with the senior leadership team.

•You master Microsoft Excel (Power query), Power Point & Power BI.

• You are bilingual; French and English

Collaboratively. Weekly AHOM, written weekly, quick biweekly video status meetings. Basecamp and Trello managed projects. We work as a team to help make our product better.

•Screening call: 30-minute with Marina, our Head of People & Culture to get to know you, discuss your motivation & fit for the role.

•Technical interview: A technical test to prepare ( at home or online) followed by a 45’min interview on Zoom with Axel, our CFO to deep dive into your technical skills.

•Meet the co-founders: 30-minute interview on Zoom with Moulaye, CEO to discuss the company goals, your career aspirations and your fit with our company culture.
