General Position Summary

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as a Regional Manager.
As a Regional Manager employed by AlffCo., you will be responsible for the budget and operation of the assigned region. The Regional Manager will supervise Territory Vendor Managers, Field Operations Managers, and local office staff in the assigned region. You will manage regional spending and budgets in coordination with the Area Director of Operations and corporate leadership.
The Regional Manager will maintain and develop customer relationships within their region, they will need to make scheduled visits to the various client locations to check the quality of the work being performed and follow up on any work that the client is not completely satisfied with.
A Regional Manager should be knowledgeable in property maintenance, familiar with industry trends, a strong leader, flexible and solution-oriented, and a strong communicator. The Regional Manager reports to the Director of Operations.
This role will require sound knowledge of general construction, exterior and interior maintenance, and industry standards. This role will be responsible for excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, this role will require working knowledge of the industry skills and equipment, and outstanding leadership skills.
Regional Strategy & Oversight
- Lead all regional operations to align with company objectives, financial targets, and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive service efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor regional KPIs, adjust strategies to improve profitability, and provide insights to senior leadership for long-term planning.
- Understand regional trends and implement process improvements focused on operational excellence and business growth.
Budget & Vendor Relationship Management
- Manage and develop the regional budget in coordination with the corporate finance team.
- Oversee all spending within the region, including vendor payments, equipment purchases, and operational costs.
- Conduct financial forecasting and performance analysis to inform data-driven decisions and optimize profitability.
- Review, approve, and close high-value proposals and quotes for both self-performed and subcontracted work.
Client and Vendor Management
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients; conduct site visits and meetings to ensure satisfaction and address escalated concerns.
- Oversee Territory Vendor Managers and subcontractors to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with SLAs.
- Strengthen client relationships to promote retention and uncover expansion opportunities.
- Partner with procurement to support vendor selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation.
Team Leadership & Workforce Development
- Supervise and mentor Field Operations Managers, office administrators, and frontline staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Coordinate staffing with the corporate team to ensure efficient workforce planning while adhering to labor regulations.
- Conduct regular reviews and goal-setting with direct reports; manage training initiatives to promote competency and compliance.
- Champion staff development and succession planning in alignment with company standards and regional needs.
Operational Execution & Compliance
- Provide oversight of daily operations, including scheduling, work completion, and invoicing across the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, data entry, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Manage fleet and equipment budgets, usage, and maintenance to support operational efficiency.
- Oversee regional office functions, including administrative systems, tools, and facilities.
- Maintain and enforce safety standards set by Executive Leadership, including fleet and field operations safety.
- Partner with HR and Safety to conduct audits, support incident response, and uphold compliance protocols.
- Manage emergency response plans and crisis operations when necessary.
Cross Function Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between regional teams and corporate departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement).
- Communicate effectively across the company to align operational activities with broader organizational goals.
- Support corporate initiatives and pilot programs as assigned.
Strategic Projects & Additional Duties
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to executive leadership for driving profitability and efficiency.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to expand market knowledge and elevate AlffCo’s reputation.
- Willingly adapt to evolving business needs and perform other duties as assigned.
- Overnight travel and after-hours work may be required based on business needs.

Experience & Industry Knowledge:
· Minimum of 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field, such as project management.
· Strong understanding of operational management in facility maintenance, construction, or service-based industries.
· Knowledge of property maintenance, general construction, or industry standards is a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and budget tracking.
· Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or other relevant enterprise software for operations and client management.
· Comfortable working with technology-driven tools, including scheduling, document management, and communication platforms.
Communication & Problem-Solving:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with internal teams, vendors, and clients effectively.
· Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to address operational challenges proactively.
· Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments to drive efficiency and process improvements.

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of management experience in the facility maintenance or construction industry, with demonstrated leadership in operational processes within a service-based business environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning, cost control, and performance metrics analysis.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations within a service-based industry.
