The Program Management Team is on a mission to build and operate the world's most performant, efficient, and reliable planetary-scale platform. You will join a team of Technical program managers that lead complex technical programs that advance Akamai's Cloud Computing Technology.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you'll work with our Technology Group by aligning goals with Engineering leadership and their teams. You will plan, communicate, execute, and deliver major programs, products, and solutions.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:

• Managing complex technical programs that require collaboration among multiple, cross-functional groups
• Developing successful partnerships with engineering, product and program stakeholders across the organization
• Identifying areas for process improvement, architecting and proposing solutions and implementing the change management

• Have extensive experience in project and program management
• Have big-picture thinking to understand how overall business goals and individual workstreams contribute to broader outcomes.
• Anticipate needs, identify gaps promptly, initiate actions to address gaps, resolve issues, solve problems, and eliminate obstacles effectively.
• Be extremely well-organized, details-oriented, motivated, and technically-oriented
