Our Cloud Platform team designs, builds, maintains, and optimizes Akamai's global network platforms. Within this organization, the Global Infrastructure Delivery Management team ensures that infrastructure deployments happen reliably, efficiently, and at scale. We enable operational excellence through standardized intake processes, end-to-end deployment management, cross-functional alignment, accurate reporting, and global delivery transparency.

We seek an Infrastructure Delivery Manager dedicated to achieving efficiency, clarity, and results in a dynamic environment. This position involves managing infrastructure deployment projects from planning to completion. Collaboration across engineering, operations, and business teams is essential to ensure alignment and progress throughout the process.

As an Infrastructure Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Capturing high level project technical requirements from internal stakeholders
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to create technical solutions and support the deployment of the project
• Building and maintaining project schedules, providing status updates to key stakeholders, and guiding projects to completion
• Identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating issues or risks and anticipating bottlenecks
• Balancing business needs with technical limitations by coordinating resources, timelines, and scope according to stakeholder requirements.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bring 2-5 years of applicable experience with a Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent professional background.
• Exhibit expertise in technical project management, showcasing the ability to lead projects effectively from initial planning to successful completion.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, translating complex technical concepts into language that's easy for various stakeholders to understand.
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.
• Cultivate a cooperative team environment by utilizing interpersonal abilities to inspire positivity, encourage accountability, and align collective efforts with business goals.
