What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and coordinate the installation and acceptance testing of system networks.
- Monitor network hardware operations to ensure proper configuration settings.
- Plan and implement network enhancements and upgrades.
- Perform cost/benefit analysis of network configurations and recommend enhancements.
- Direct acquisition, installation, and testing of network hardware.
- Advise network users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues.
- Provide supervision and direction to support staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with network security protocols and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Location & Travel:
- Must be local to the Washington, DC area as on-site work is required.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Active/Current Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI and polygraph eligible holders are highly encouraged to apply.
