India onlyServing as a technical thought leader and SME for our ecosystem of partners, customers, and service providers in the realm of Modern Apps & Platform Engineering, the Senior Technical Consultant works as part of the consulting team to lead the development, design, implementation and engagement leader of client solutions. Senior Technical Consultants mentor and provide direction to engineers on a project by project basis and within the broader organization as it relates to internal initiatives and indirect project support.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Designs and Implements complex, mission-critical transformational enterprise grade technical solutions for clients.
- Ability to drive modernization efforts for Enterprise customers on AWS/AZURE.
- Understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP architecture and services. Proficiency in core Azure/AWS services (EC2, EBS, VPC etc). Familiarity with networking concepts (VPNs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
- Experience with AWS/Azure Migration Hub for assessment and planning, proficiency in AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN) or Azure Migrate, ModelizeIT, VMWare vRNI (Aria Operations).
- Knowledge of AWS security best practices and services (IAM, Security Groups, KMS), Understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to AWS or Azure. Knowledge of AWS or Azure operational best practices (monitoring, logging, automation).
- Ability to analyze and optimize costs in the AWS or Azure environment, Skills in rightsizing AWS or Azure resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Experience working with container technology like Docker, Podman, Kubernetes(EKS/GKE/AKS), Service Mesh(Solo, Istio), Ingress Controllers, Container Networking(Calico, CNI), Network Policies, GitOps (FluxCD/ArgoCD), CRDs, Blue Green Deployment.
- Experience with CICD Tools like Spacelift, Jenkins, Github actions, Harness, Azure Devops, AWS Code Pipeline/Deploy.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Azure ARM, AWS Cloud Formation, Pulumi, Bicep, Python Boto3 and Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
- Good Scripting Knowledge to develop automations using Python, Powershell or bash.
- Knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX), Understanding of VMware HCX for VM migration
- Experience developing Platforms for AI using cloud native tools like AWS Bedrock, AWS Sage Maker, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Google Vertex.
- Knowledge on working with AI Frameworks like Langchain, Langsmith and building RAG based Applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in Platform, Devops, Cloud Engineering teams.
- 8+ years of IT experience and 4+ years of Cloud, Migration, Automation, Application Modernization, Digital Transformation experience.
- Strong consulting and business acumen to lead customer conversations and drive new initiatives
- Multiple Professional/Associate/Speciality certifications like AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS certified Networking/Security speciality, Azure administrator Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer/Security(CKA/CKAD/CKS), Terraform certified Associate, Argo certified engineer, Istio certified engineer.
