Job Description
The Cross-Functional Integration Lead at Agilent serves as the central link between field project managers, software R&D, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of financial integrations within the iLab SaaS platform. This role combines Agile facilitation, technical expertise, and strategic coordination to align cross-functional teams around customer needs and business goals. The Lead plays a hands-on role in sprint execution, integration planning, and continuous improvement, while also contributing to strategic planning and product feedback loops.
Principle Duties/Responsibilities:
Agile Execution & Sprint Planning:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Ensure integration-related tasks are accurately scoped, prioritized, and assigned to the correct sprint. Actively manage Jira boards to reflect real-time progress and dependencies.
Technical Liaison Between Field and R&D:
Act as the primary conduit between field project managers and software development teams for financial integrations. Translate business and customer requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks and user stories.
Hands-On Technical Contribution:
Participate directly in technical discussions, solution design, and documentation of integration workflows. Review API specifications, validate integration feasibility, and support the development team in resolving blockers.
Customer-Facing Support (As Needed):
Join customer calls in a supporting technical role to clarify integration capabilities, timelines, and constraints. Provide internal teams with technical insights to help manage customer expectations and ensure successful delivery.
Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment:
Maintain strong communication channels with Sales, Customer Success, and R&D. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on integration scope, timelines, and changes. Proactively surface risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Strategic Planning & Business Case Development:
Collaborate annually with cross-functional teams to define business objectives related to integrations. Contribute to the development of business cases and track progress through structured reporting.
Influence Product Roadmap (Secondary):
Provide feedback from the field and integration experiences to inform future product enhancements. Participate in roadmap discussions and advocate for improvements that enhance integration scalability and customer satisfaction.
Process Optimization & Documentation:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to Identify and implement improvements to integration workflows, communication protocols, and sprint planning processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration standards, best practices, and technical reference materials.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
Track key performance indicators such as integration delivery timelines, sprint velocity, and stakeholder satisfaction. Use data to drive continuous improvement in both technical execution and cross-team collaboration
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
4+ years of experience in Agile project management, technical program coordination, or a related field
Strong understanding of financial integration processes and enterprise SaaS platforms
Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience working with remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
