In an effort to enhance customer centricity and streamline our technical operations, we are looking for a new leader that will oversee the various technical specialties of our EMEA region. As an Associate Vice President of our Technical Coverage & Solutions, you will be leading Product Specialists and Application Scientifics, including European Demo Centers of Excellent on the following portfolio of products: HDx (Healthcare & Diagnostics), MBR (Molecular & Biological Research), CASA (Cell Analysis Sales and Applications) and LSS (Laboratory Solutions Sales). This talented, collaborative and disciplined team’s goal is to provide trusted answers to our customers, aligning our values propositions to our customers’ outcomes.

In this role, you will drive the harmonization of our technical coverage model by focusing on three key objectives:

  • Improved Customer Experience: Ensure a more coordinated approach to customer interactions, leading to enhanced satisfaction and loyalty.
    Operational Efficiency: Streamline operations under to reduce redundancies, improve communication, and optimize resource allocation.
    Strategic Alignment: Better align technical specialties with our overarching business goals and strategies.

In alignment with these core objectives, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Oversee the integration of Product Specialists, Application Scientists, and Demo Centers of Excellence.
    • Develop and implement strategies that enhance our technical services and customer centricity.
    • Foster innovation and continuous improvement across all technical specialties.
    • Ensure effective collaboration and communication among all technical teams.

This role can be based anywhere in Europe where Agilent has a legal entity. You may work fully remotely or opt for a hybrid model if you are within commuting distance of an Agilent office.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:

  • University degree, ideally a Master’s or PhD, in a Life Science field (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals…) – an MBA is a plus.
    Significant experience in leading diverse teams, including management-level staff, across sales, pre-sales and/or post-salesfunctions
    Strong track record of successfully implementing strategies that enhance client experience and satisfaction
    • Experience or knowledge in the Pharma/Biopharma sector would be a plus
    • Full proficiency in English. Additional fluency in another European language is an asset.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
