This role can be onsite or remote, and we are currently accepting candidates residing in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Washington, Utah, and Oklahoma. You MUST live and work from one these states to work remotely for Agile Space Industries.

Responsibilities:

A Supplier Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards met throughout the supply chain. Here’s a brief overview of the typical responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

  • Conducting supplier audits
  • Developing quality control plans
  • Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues
  • Analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Reviewing contractual requirements and ensuring they are flowed down to suppliers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supplier issues effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • 3+ years’ experience in quality assurance, supply chain, or related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interfacing with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Yearly travel to be approximately 50%.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
  • Experience evaluating supplier performance and product quality.
  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, etc.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Employment Type: Exempt

The expected salary range for this role is $73,000-$116,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.

Work Schedule: Full Time

Location: Remote with approx. 50% travel
