One of our clients is a prominent player in the European pet care retail sector, where we support a range of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience. Our work focuses on optimizing workflows and delivering seamless, user-friendly solutions across various platforms.
We are currently involved in several key projects for this client, including web and mobile applications, as well as backend-integrated retail systems. To ensure the continued success of these initiatives, we are looking to strengthen the QA team with a Manual QA Engineer who will support the delivery of high-quality software through robust test strategies, exploratory testing, and continuous validation across multiple products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define clear testing goals.
- Create and manage test assets: Design, document, and maintain test cases and test plans in a management tool, ensuring coverage and traceability.
- Execute end-to-end testing: Perform system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Analyze and report defects: Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Contribute to process improvement: Review and optimize test cases regularly, and provide input on story grooming and test effort estimation.
- Support UAT activities: Assist clients during User Acceptance Testing by providing training, guidance, and coordinating sign-off for releases.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman).
- Good experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA,X-Ray,Azure, TestRail. Aqua).
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve test failures and enhance overall test coverage.
- Collaborate with team members to improve and enhance the testing process
- Perform manual testing of software applications across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
