Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a university/college
- Portfolio of visually and editorially compelling graphics
- Skilled at presenting data through engaging charts, maps, and full-screen graphics
- Familiar with interactive data visualization and data analysis tools
- Able to produce high-quality graphics quickly, including for breaking news
- Curious, innovative and open to experimenting with new technologies
- Editorially rigorous, with a commitment to accuracy and high journalistic standards
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong project management skills
- Interest in or enthusiasm about science and its role in the news
