SciLine, a free service for journalists and scientists that aims to get more evidence into the news, seeks a Data Analysis Intern to evaluate and strengthen our news-coverage discovery efforts.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (or transitioning between the two) at a university/college.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data sets, spreadsheets, or databases. Experience with data visualization tools a plus.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to clearly summarize findings.
- Interest and enthusiasm about journalism, media analysis, or the role of data and scientific evidence in news coverage.
