What I'm looking for

I’m seeking practical industry experience to understand real cyber threats and support the protection of cloud systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.

At Center for Cyber Security Studies & Research, I conducted Nmap scans to identify open ports, running services, and potential vulnerabilities. I also prepared vulnerability assessment reports with prioritized findings and remediation recommendations.

I deployed and monitored Wazuh SIEM in a small lab network for threat detection, log correlation, and alert triage. My internship also included digital-forensics exercises in evidence identification, preservation, and basic artifact analysis.

In personal projects, I built a Python-based intrusion detection system that monitors network traffic and uses YARA rules to generate real-time alerts. I also designed a segmented LAN using VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and subnetting.

Hands-on labs have taken me to the top 1% global rank on TryHackMe and into the top 8 in Nepal on the BTLO national leaderboard. I’m seeking practical industry experience where I can support the protection of cloud systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
