What I'm looking for

I want to deepen my internal medicine skills through high-quality clinical care—especially acute medicine and oncology exposure—while contributing to multidisciplinary teamwork, continuous learning, and measurable quality improvement for better patient outcomes.

I’m a dedicated internal medicine resident currently training at Cairo University Hospitals. I’ve built hands-on experience managing acute medical presentations—taking frontline responsibility for assessing, diagnosing, and stabilizing acutely unwell, unselected patients in a high-volume setting.

Across rotations in acutemedicine, medical oncology, cardiology, dermatology, and rheumatology, I deliver primary ward care with daily consultant-led rounds and create, implement, and monitor comprehensive management plans. I also develop my procedural capability through autonomous performance, assistance, and supervision of critical bedside interventions, including chest drain insertions, abdominal paracentesis, urinary catheterisation, and nasogastric tube placements.

I’m equally committed to multidisciplinary care and continuous improvement. I partner closely with nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, and specialty consultants; independently interpret complex lab and radiology investigations; and maintain meticulous clinical documentation with safe handovers via prompt discharge summaries. My recent Clinical Observer experience in oncology and systemic anti-cancer therapies has strengthened my approach to acute toxicities, neutropenic sepsis protocols, and patient communication using shared decision-making and the SPIKES framework—while reinforcing my drive to deliver high-quality, ethical patient care.
