What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote, full-time, part-time or contract Backend Software Engineer position where I can grow as an engineer. I’m open to opportunities with international teams, especially in .NET and Python/Django development.

I’m Youssef Adel, a Backend Software Engineer and a 2nd-place winner in the Cybersecurity track at DIGITOPIA, one of Egypt’s major technology and innovation competitions.

I’ve worked on projects across different domains, including ERP and POS systems, developer tools such as Mocka, a dynamic mock API generator, and security tools such as SASTify, a static application security testing tool that detects vulnerabilities in source code across 20+ programming languages and generate a detailed security report in a few seconds.

My main technology stacks are C# and ASP.NET Core, and Python with Django and Django REST Framework. I also have experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and MongoDB, alongside database design, internals, performance optimization, SQL tuning, and identifying database bottlenecks.

Beyond backend development, I have foundational knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. I’m currently preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification to strengthen my cloud architecture knowledge.

I’m looking for an opportunity to start my professional career as a Software Engineer, contribute to real-world production systems, and learn from experienced engineers. I’m curious, committed to continuous learning, and always looking to challenge myself and improve my skills.
