I am currently pursuing a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai, India. With a CGPA of 8.85, I have demonstrated my dedication and commitment to my studies. I have a strong interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and I have actively participated in various projects and workshops to enhance my skills in this area.
One of my notable projects is the development of a Suspicious Activity Detecting Camera using ML models. This project aims to detect unusual activities, such as holding a gun or punching, using existing surveillance systems. I created an ML model with the help of Google Teachable Machine and the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm to detect weapons like handguns and knives. The model also identifies threatening poses. This project has the potential to improve surveillance in public places like banks and railway stations.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also achieved recognition in various competitions and workshops. I won the second prize in Neoteric Paragon, a business ideathon event, and the third prize in Skilfest, a 24-hour hackathon focused on AI/ML. I have also attended the Kaizen IOT Workshop conducted by LEMA Labs, where I gained valuable knowledge in coding, data analysis, and machine learning.
