I'm pursuing a B.Tech in Fire & Safety Engineering and have built practical refinery safety experience through industrial training at GAIL (India) Limited, PATA and IOCL Haldia Refinery.
At GAIL, I gained exposure to firefighting installations, fire-water networks, pump-house operations, water, foam and DCP fire tenders, Permit-to-Work systems, JSA, safety inspections, and fire risk assessments.
At IOCL Haldia Refinery, I supported fire drills, emergency-response duties, breathing apparatus cylinder and DCP extinguisher procedures, and completed a project on fire protection systems in storage tanks. I'm seeking an entry-level Fire & Safety or EHS role where I can contribute to safe plant operations.
