What I'm looking for

I'm seeking senior SQL Server DBA, production DBA, or SQL DBA L2/L3 opportunities, including remote roles, focused on production support, HA/DR, performance tuning, and database administration.

At UST Global, I supported Anthem’s enterprise Microsoft SQL Server production databases, keeping availability, performance, and day-to-day administration on track in 24x7 environments.

I installed, maintained, upgraded, migrated, and patched SQL Server instances across clustered and non-clustered servers. I also managed permissions, linked servers, SQL Server Agent jobs, capacity monitoring, alerts, error logs, and incident queues within SLA/ETA.

I build and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including restores, object-level restoration, point-in-time recovery, transaction log management, and third-party backup conversion. My HA/DR work includes Always On Availability Groups, SQL Server and Windows Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication, and Database Mirroring.

I tune databases and queries through execution plans, indexing, statistics updates, DBCC, DMVs, SQL Sentry, and SQL Profiler. I also work directly with application, server, and SAN teams during priority production incidents.
