Valentine Omwanda

I am a certified Science Laboratory Technician with hands-on experience setting up practical classes, preparing solutions, and maintaining microscopes and laboratory equipment. I completed a Certificate in Science Laboratory from Siaya Institute of Technology College (2021–2023).

During an attachment at Siaya Township Secondary School I handled specimen gathering, stock solution preparation, culturing techniques, and laboratory waste disposal while supporting practical instruction. I also maintained records of stocks and assisted with microscope tests and basic analyses.

I am adaptable, quick to learn new procedures, and focused on accurate record-keeping and safe lab practices. I seek opportunities to contribute to a laboratory team where I can further develop technical skills and support quality laboratory operations.
