As a Senior Audit Associate, I set materiality and audit strategy, planned audit scope, and allocated work. I assessed revenue cut-off risks and tested dispatches against delivery documents and sales invoices.
I audited consolidated financial statements for the Nishat Mills and RYK Mills groups, including intercompany eliminations and non-controlling interests. I also performed internal audits of purchase cycles at production units.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant through ICAP and worked remotely with small-business clients in the USA, setting up QuickBooks and maintaining their books of account. My work also covers IFRS reporting, tax balances, and Companies Act 2017 and SECP compliance.
