I'm a licensed pharmacist by training, but my day-to-day work has consistently pulled me toward supply chain and operations — inventory control, procurement, demand planning, and logistics for pharmaceutical products. Over the past four years across hospital, clinical, retail, and manufacturing settings in Nigeria, I've managed medication inventory systems (including Odoo ERP), coordinated procurement and reorder cycles, maintained cold chain integrity for temperature-sensitive products, and worked cross-functionally with clinical, production, and quality teams.

A few things I'm proud of: at the Kano State Hospital Management Board, I implemented a FEFO (first-to-expire, first-out) inventory system paired with monthly expiry audits, which cut medicine wastage by enabling timely redistribution of near-expiry stock to high-consumption hospitals. At Medplus Pharmacy, I used Excel-based reporting to streamline coordination with health insurance clients, improving service delivery by roughly 50%, and drove a ~30% increase in sales through targeted upselling and cross-selling. I've also worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing, where I supported production planning and quality control (hardness, friability, and packaging integrity testing) in a GMP environment — giving me visibility into the upstream side of the supply chain, not just distribution.

Recognizing that I wanted to move more formally into supply chain, I earned my Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA) credential from ISCEA and completed MIT's full Supply Chain Management course series — Fundamentals, Analytics, Design, Systems & Technology, and Dynamics — to build a rigorous foundation in the discipline beyond what I picked up on the job. I'm also a member of the Africa Resource Center for Excellence in Supply Chain Management (ARC_ESM).

What draws me to supply chain is the direct link between good systems and real-world outcomes — in healthcare, a stock-out or a wasted expired drug isn't just a cost, it can affect patient care. I'm looking for roles in inventory management, demand/supply planning, or procurement, ideally where I can apply both my analytical training and my hands-on experience keeping complex, sensitive supply chains — like pharmaceuticals — running reliably.
