Ubongabasi Okonusoro

At Premier Medical Services, I provide nursing care in the outpatient department, direct and admit patients to the ward, and administer medications to outpatients.

In accident and emergency, I provide first aid and help stabilize patients before transfer to the ward. In the theatre, I assist with surgeries, brief patients about procedures, and help maintain a sterile operating room.

I also provide care for patients undergoing dialysis for urologic, nephrologic and renal conditions under the supervision of my superior.

During my clinical formation at General Hospital, Ikot Ekpene and University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, I assisted with perioperative and paediatric care, intensive care, operating rooms, ENT and ophthalmology. I’m seeking to apply this clinical foundation in occupational health, supporting employee health, workplace wellbeing and safe practice.
