I am an experienced oncology registered nurse with a long history of chemotherapy administration, patient education, and clinical documentation. I currently work remotely as an Oncology Data Abstractor and continue bedside infusion nursing work, bringing both clinical and data-oriented perspectives.
Over more than two decades I have administered chemotherapy, calculated dosages, managed central lines and ports, monitored patients for adverse effects, and provided end-of-life care and palliative options. I emphasize clear communication and trust-building with patients and families to improve adherence and outcomes.
I have also worked as an RN case manager coordinating care across providers, monitoring quality of services, and providing symptom prevention and management for oncology patients. I am proficient with EMR systems including Epic and experience abstracting clinical data following guidelines.
I hold a BSN, current certifications including OCN since 2003, BLS, and chemotherapy certification. I seek roles where I can combine clinical oncology expertise with data-driven quality improvement to enhance patient care.
