What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role where I can leverage my software engineering background while growing my cybersecurity skills, ideally in a collaborative environment that values innovation and continuous learning.

I'm a motivated and Security+ certified professional with over 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, now transitioning into cybersecurity. My journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in network security principles, system hardening, and incident response, all bolstered by self-directed training and hands-on labs.

At Uplight, I designed and maintained scalable cloud-based applications using AWS, Python, and JavaScript, while collaborating on production support and incident response. My previous roles at Ibotta and SpotX further honed my skills in building robust applications and debugging complex systems. Currently, I am advancing my skills in security engineering and threat detection through various courses and practical projects.
