At EY México, I progressed from Staff de Auditoría Externa to Senior de Auditoría Externa, taking responsibility for financial statement audits of financial sector entities. I coordinated and supervised teams of up to seven Staff, completing engagements within agreed deadlines without delays attributable to my work.
I reviewed working papers in EY Canvas against NIF and NIA, evaluated internal controls, and carried out reconciliations, cash counts, and physical inventory observations. As the team’s client contact, I coordinated information requests and follow-up, and supported a Staff colleague who was promoted to Senior.
