At Mixxx, I built the Canonical Master Release Track system to detect duplicate masterings, select the highest-quality file, and transfer beatgrids and cue points with under 1.5 ms offset accuracy. I also designed its SQLite data layer and developed a multithreaded AcoustID lookup service.
As an ongoing Mixxx open-source contributor, I implemented a real-time Key Comparison audio effect and added recording and BPM controls. I’ve contributed more than eight merged pull requests.
At Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, I formulated an approximation algorithm for connected dominating sets on unit disk graphs, improving the proven worst-case approximation ratio from 441 to 168. I also built Proximity, an offline-first campus attendance project tested in a live IIT Bhilai class.
