At Cognizant Technology Solutions, I support and analyze enterprise mainframe batch applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2. I review existing programs and assist senior developers with batch cycle analysis.
I troubleshoot batch job failures and data issues using SDSF and JCL logs, and use ISPF and SDSF for job monitoring and basic batch analysis. I also maintain technical and process documentation while following Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
For my Banking Batch Processing System project, I developed a COBOL, JCL, and DB2 application to process banking-related data. I created jobs for file backup, validation, database loading, and reporting, and worked with VSAM KSDS files and embedded SQL.
