What I'm looking for

I’m keen to continue developing within purchasing and progress towards purchasing management.

At M Seals Ltd, I source industrial sealing products from UK and overseas suppliers, including O-rings, oil seals, bonded seals and gaskets. I process 40+ purchase orders each week and request 30+ supplier quotations daily.

I compare supplier prices and lead times, coordinate activity across around 50 suppliers, and identify lower-cost alternatives for sales requests. This work has contributed to savings of £600+ per month.

I monitor stock, deliveries and open orders, and prepare purchasing, stock and financial reports using Microsoft Excel. I also coordinate bespoke parts, direct deliveries and support for returns or rejected parts.

I use Microsoft Dynamics AX for purchasing and work with sales and finance to maintain accurate order records. I'm keen to continue developing in purchasing and progress towards purchasing management.
