Sonika Manhas

I am Dr. Sonika Manhas, an MBBS graduate with a year of clinical internship experience, where I managed over 30 patient-days. My journey in medicine has equipped me with a solid foundation in clinical practices, and I am now pivoting towards corporate and teleconsultation roles. I aim to blend my evidence-based thinking with data-driven decision-making to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

During my internship at ASCOMS, I successfully supervised triage in a 30-bed medical ward, streamlining workflows and significantly reducing patient handoff times. My commitment to improving patient outcomes was evident when I utilized a patient dashboard to track antibiotic stewardship, leading to a notable decline in broad-spectrum antibiotic usage. Additionally, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to implement EMR template updates, which resulted in a substantial reduction in charting errors.

Beyond my clinical experience, I have demonstrated leadership as the Project Lead for a rural vaccination camp, where I effectively planned and executed the delivery of 3,200 doses while adhering to budget constraints and WHO guidelines. I am passionate about leveraging my skills in clinical data analysis and project management to contribute positively to the healthcare sector.
