What I'm looking for

I want to join a SOC or security operations team where I can monitor alerts, investigate threats, and improve detection rules. I’m especially interested in SIEM work and ICS/SCADA-focused security in a learning-focused environment.

I’m a motivated cybersecurity professional building a strong foundation across network security, endpoint detection, threat analysis, and ICS/SCADA security. I deploy and manage SIEM solutions, run vulnerability assessments, and create hands-on security lab environments to turn learning into practical capability.

In my lab work, I’ve integrated Wazuh SIEM for real-time log monitoring, correlation, and security event alerting, and used that visibility to strengthen detection coverage. I also deploy and practice with pfSense for advanced network segmentation and firewall rule management, while securing industrial environments with focus on OT protections like PLC and HMI security.

I’m currently pursuing CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), and I back that progress with project delivery. My Python-based Behavioral Monitoring System detects anomalous user and system behavior in real time, and my browser privacy rating extension evaluates tracking resistance, fingerprinting protection, encryption enforcement, and data leak risk.

Deployed a pfSense firewall in a VirtualBox homelab to practice network segmentation and firewall rule management. Integrated Wazuh SIEM for real-time log monitoring, performed vulnerability assessments with Nmap and Nikto, and tested detection capabilities by simulating attack scenarios.
