What I'm looking for

Long-term remote contract roles as a Software Architect or Tech Lead. Best fit: backend-heavy fintech, gov-tech and SaaS on PHP/Laravel, Node.js, PostgreSQL and AWS. I contract via my own companies, Eternia Solutions LLC (U.S.) and Jakovic Engineering (Serbia), so no visa sponsorship or payroll setup is needed.

At Jakovic Engineering, I architect backend systems for international clients across government infrastructure, fintech, and enterprise. For Open Balkan / toll4all.com, I architected a cross-border toll collection platform processing millions of transactions across five countries and built its supporting ERP system.

For XM, I engineered high-throughput backend systems supporting trading operations for a platform serving 20M+ users. I also delivered system components for LTSE, a SEC-registered U.S. national securities exchange, and worked on the Moj Telenor mobile API at Telenor Serbia.

My work has also included full-stack architecture for Governius and the MyHall portal, as well as development of Homegate.ch features and its migration to new hosting infrastructure. I created technical interview preparation courses covering PHP, Node.js, and IT certification exam prep, and have conducted 200+ technical interviews.

Based in Belgrade, Serbia (CET), with good overlap with U.S. and EU business hours. I own a U.S. company, Eternia Solutions LLC (Wyoming), so U.S. clients can contract with me directly as a U.S. vendor, invoiced in USD. Open to long-term remote contract engagements as an architect or technical lead.
