SILVIA D'ANASTASIO

Taught Acting and Acting in English to students aged 12–18, delivering weekly classes in acting techniques, improvisation, character development, voice, movement, and ensemble work. Directed student performances and prepared students for public showcases.

Performed in educational touring productions for primary and secondary schools across Italy, including Odyssey and When They Gave Us a School, combining theatre with historical and literary education.

Assisted the director throughout the rehearsal process for Terror and Misery of the Third Reich, coordinated rehearsals and communication between artistic and technical teams, and translated rehearsals and production materials between English and Italian.

Taught theatre and performance workshops for young people as part of an educational and community development programme. Directed the original community production The Legend of Nyamghondo, developed with local participants.

Led theatre workshops in correctional facilities in Vigevano (Milan) in 2016, using drama techniques to encourage creativity, collaboration, and personal expression within custodial settings.

Facilitated theatre workshops at Castrogno Prison (Teramo) in 2015, using drama techniques to encourage creativity, collaboration, and personal expression within custodial settings.
