SIDRA NAWAZ

I’m an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Resident at Rehman Dental Hospital, with a strong clinical foundation in diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical care. I’m committed to continuous learning and providing evidence-based, patient-centered treatment.

In my residency, I manage maxillofacial trauma, infections, cysts, lesions, and dento-facial deformities. I perform alveoloplasty and dental extractions, and I assist in major procedures while ensuring careful attention to detail and patient follow-ups.

I also build surgical confidence in the operation theatre, supporting orthognathic surgeries, cleft lip and palate repair, and TMJ disorder care. My focus is safe, well-prepared surgical assistance—paired with strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings.

Before residency, I completed a rotatory internship through Khyber College of Dentistry, rotating across Oral Surgery, Operative Dentistry, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, and Community Dentistry. I also work as a visiting general dentist, providing comprehensive dental care and patient education, and I recently expanded my skill set through medical coding and AI in medical education training.
