What I'm looking for

I'm looking to grow in cybersecurity through hands-on SOC work involving security monitoring, alert investigation, incident response, threat analysis, and continuous improvement of security processes.

At CGI, I monitor and triage security alerts in a 24x7 Security Operations Center, investigating potential threats across endpoint, network, and cloud logs.

I correlate firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, and authentication logs to validate alerts, classify severity, and escalate confirmed incidents with complete evidence.

I conduct end-to-end email investigations, analyzing headers, URLs, attachments, sender reputation, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to identify phishing attempts. I also investigate suspicious files through sandbox analysis and threat intelligence lookups.

My MSc in Microbiology strengthened my analytical, evidence-based approach to root-cause analysis. I document investigations in ServiceNow, support vulnerability scan reviews, and collaborate with IT and security teams to improve incident-response processes.
