At Bootlegger Restaurants (The Silo Group), I’m responsible for the month-end bookkeeping cycle across four group entities, with additional entities added as the group has grown. I work in Sage Intacct and QuickBooks.
I process invoices and payments and reconcile creditor accounts for more than 50 supplier accounts each month. I also follow up on debtor accounts and reconcile bank and credit card statements across the group entities.
I maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journals and allocations, and produce month-end income statements and balance sheets. I also prepare management reports and resolve finance queries from store and operations teams.
Before moving into the group finance function, I managed a Bootlegger Restaurants location and its full front- and back-of-house team. I reported on sales, costs and variances using GAAP POS, and managed inventory orders and cost of sales.
