Looking for a job

Semiat Adewole

@semiatadewole

Environmental Health Technology graduate at Ibarapa Central Local Government who conducted HSE inspections and monitored waste management.

What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an entry-level opportunity to apply my knowledge in environmental health, occupational health and safety, public health, waste management, environmental sampling, and community health education.

At Ibarapa Central Local Government’s Water and Environmental Sanitation Department, I conducted HSE audits and inspections and monitored waste management and industrial effluent. I also prepared inspection reports with recommended corrective actions.

I participated in house-to-house environmental inspections and assisted with fumigation activities. I also mentored SIWES students.

During my SIWES placements, I gained exposure to Port Health Services at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Nigeria Ports Authority – Lagos Port Complex, and Seme Border. At Lagos Waste Management Authority, I worked on waste reduction, reuse, and recycling.

As a Corps Member at Crescent University’s Department of Nursing, I provided administrative and record-management support, coordinated Environmental CDS health awareness projects, and delivered Environmental Health lectures to 100-level Nursing students. I’m a Registered Environmental Health Officer (REHO – EHCON) seeking an entry-level opportunity in environmental health, occupational health and safety, public health, waste management, environmental sampling, or community health education.
