Samuel Tigistu

@samueltigistu

Full-stack software engineer delivering client web apps with 35% faster page loads and SMS integrations.

I built dynamic web apps for local and commercial clients as a freelance and contract Full-Stack Software Engineer, cutting page latency by 35% through database indexing and lightweight frontend design. I also integrated Twilio and Infobip SMS alerts across 5,000+ transactions.

At ASTU Technology Innovation Hub, I worked with a team of five engineers on departmental web applications, refactored legacy PHP scripts into REST endpoints, and designed 3NF MySQL schemas. My projects include TeacherForm, a tutor placement platform, and a notification microservice with rate limiting and provider fallback logic.
