At Yassir, I shipped an internal source-code monitoring service with automated triage and an auditable decision log, and enforced commit signing and branch protection across repositories. I also authored the group-wide incident response runbook after directing a high-severity incident from containment through recovery.

At Yassir, I established the ISO 27001 ISMS and led SOC 2 readiness, building the policies, controls, and audit evidence pipelines. I also introduced AI security governance and cloud security posture checks.

At Equity Bank, I led cyber defense strategy across six markets, supporting the security of digital banking and cross-border financial operations. I directed risk assessments and incident response, and delivered security awareness training to more than 5,000 employees.

Earlier, at KPMG East Africa and PwC Kenya, I led cybersecurity assessments and advisory work for financial services, telecom, government, and enterprise clients. I hold a BS in Computer Science from Kabarak University and certifications including CCISO, CEH, ITIL v3, and Prince2 Agile.
