What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue contributing practical accounting experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT, fixed assets, budgeting support, and accounting operations, with opportunities to support teams and grow through ACCA completion.

I'm currently preparing financial statements, budgets, foreign container costing, VAT reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and foreign payments at JTA Supermarkets Limited. I also supervise approximately seven staff and support daily accounting operations.

Over more than 11 years in accounting, including nearly 12 years at Toyota Trinidad & Tobago Limited, I've maintained fixed-asset registers, reconciled general ledger and bank accounts, managed accounts receivable reporting, and supported audit and bank queries.

My work includes balance-sheet schedules, lease amortisation records, stock-count reporting, customer invoicing, petty cash, and daily bank-balance monitoring. I have also supported AML/CFT procedures, staff education, and customer KYC reviews.

I'm an ACCA Level 2 candidate with Financial Management remaining, backed by Certified Accounting Technician qualifications and practical experience in established corporate environments.
