At Nikan Pharmed, I led hands-on pharmaceutical research in medicinal chemistry, API development and analytical R&D. I synthesized and optimized compounds, supported technology transfer for metformin, nicorandil and pirfenidone APIs, and developed and validated HPLC methods.
In community and hospital pharmacy practice in Canada, I reviewed prescriptions and medication regimens for therapeutic appropriateness and patient-specific safety. My research includes approximately 300 synthesized compounds and four peer-reviewed publications; I also assess clinical recommendations and scientific reasoning for safety and evidential support.
