At Ciena India Pvt Ltd, I contribute to C-based platform firmware for ONU boards used in out-of-band management. I consolidated four hardware-specific compile-time builds into a single runtime-adaptive image and contributed to runtime hardware detection in the Linux boot sequence.
I also extended a core network daemon with an ITU-T G.988-compliant Performance Monitoring engine and Alarm subsystem, and built a Python CLI data-transfer utility adopted by 25+ platform engineers. In a personal project, I developed a C++17 peer-to-peer file transfer engine using Linux epoll, with SHA-1 piece verification and a Rarest-First scheduler.
