At CSMIT Panvel, I teach Applied Maths and Physics. My work also spans mathematics education research, teacher education, and STEM teaching across levels.
My PhD research at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, TIFR, explored the implications of the social model of disability for mathematics education. I organized and led a six-year independent volunteer-teaching and research initiative at a Mumbai study centre for visually challenged children, developing inclusive mathematics pedagogy while examining exclusion in education.
At CETE, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, I led an Online Inclusive Geometry Education project as Research Manager. I’ve also taught mathematical modeling, mathematics for data science, and foundations of AI in university and vocational education settings.
I’ve published research on ableism, disability, and the political economy of mathematics education, and designed mathematical puzzles featured in teacher magazines. Earlier, I developed Bayesian inference and machine-learning algorithms in C++ to predict tissue-specific promoter signals.
